Submitting a Lineup
Note: If you traded 1 player for 2, and now have too many, you must drop a player. You will NOT be able to
submit Waivers OR a Lineup if your Roster exceeds 18 Players.
Always start here on your normal starting point:
http://www.dreamsports.com/fb-results.htm
Click on your league.
On the next page, click on "Submit Lineup" and "your team name".
Click the "Go" button.
On the next page, click on your starters. (QB=1, RB=2, WR/TE=3, K=1, DT=1)
Select your Backups (up to 5). (in order, QB's first, then RB's, then WR/TE's)
Click the "Submit Lineup" button.
Important Notes :
ALL lineups are due BEFORE the 1st NFL game of the week. No changes can be made after the
1st NFL game has started each week.
You can submit your line-up as many times a week as you like, up until kickoff
time of the first NFL game each week.
If any of your starters do not play that week, we insert your Backup. (QB,RB and WR/TE only).
If you do not list Backup players, and a starter doesn't play, you get zero points for that player.
(note: Back-up Players are only used when it affects the outcome of the game)
We do the backups late Tuesday afternoon's after the NFL stats are official.
If you submit your line up BEFORE the Wednesday free agents are proccessed,
you may need to re-submit it again before kickoff time.
* * Partial Lineups * *
You CAN input a "partial lineup". This will be helpful if/when the following occurs:
Example: You only have one Kicker, and he is on a "bye" week.
Example: You only have 5 WR's, and 3 of them are on a "bye" week.
Notes:
BE CAREFUL when inputting a lineup. Whether you enter a partial lineup on purpose or by
mistake, the system will give you a WARNING, but it WILL accept the lineup.
Backup Players are NOT inserted into the lineup for "missing" starters.
You can still enter a full lineup, anytime each week, before the kickoff of the 1st game.
* * Backup Players * *
You are allowed to list up to 5 Backup Players. Here is the proper way to do it :
(Be sure to always list them in order, QB's first, then RB's, then WR/TE's)
Pennington C
Holmes P
Staley D
Owens T
Chambers C
We will always use the FIRST backup player listed at each position.
It is YOUR choice as to what 5 players you want to list as backups.
If your backups are not listed properly, they might not be used at all.
(your lineup may also NOT go through)
They MUST be listed in this order:
- ALL QB's first (if listing any), then ALL RB's (if listing any),
then ALL WR/TE's (if listing any)
You can even list the same player more than once, as long as he is listed in the proper order.
If you list only 1 player as a backup and have more that scored points at that
position, we will ONLY use the one you listed.
...Example : You listed Emmitt Smith as your only backup RB. Now
if one of your starting RB's don't play, we will insert Smith. If Smith didn't play either,
we will NOT use any of your other RB's that might of played.
If you do not submit a line up, we use the same Starters from the previous week.
(Starters only, no backups). If one of them does not play, you get zero points for that player.
If an Owner goes 2 consecutive weeks without submitting a line up, (or
contacting us), we will try to contact you. If we do not get a response, we will assume
you have dropped the team.
Owners will also lose their team if they fail to submit a lineup 3 times during the regular season.
If you drop or lose your team, there is no refund.
* DON'T wait until the last minute to input your lineup. Your computer and home clock may be a
little off from our server's clock.
...It's best to input a lineup early in the week if you think you
won't be around on the weekend. You can always change it as often as you like later.
